How is it funded?

To fund our new pool area, we had to raise £150,000. This was daunting at first, but amazingly, we have virtually reached our target with an impressive £149,454; this includes £50,000 from the Extended Schools Capital Programme, £10,000 from the governors, £38,000 from the school PTA, over £20,500 donated by parents, plus a generous £30,000 grant received from Hampton Fuel Allotments Charity (HFAC).

Work on the pool has taken place in phases:

Phase A - Planning application
Phase B – Builders work; clearing of site; pool roof
Phase C – Lining repair, pool filtration
Phase D - Toilet and shower provision
Phase E – Rubberised flooring, dehumidifying/heating

Our official "Raise the Roof" fundraising campaign closed back in May this year. From now on, further fundraising will focus on smaller items needed to enjoy a pool, such as floats, swimming aids, poolside benches, clocks, automatic pool cleaners etc.

Personal contributions are still welcome (please click on how to donate ), as are any other sources of funding such as corporate sponsorship, individual benefactors etc.
